長野県内トップの情報産業集積地、塩尻市

According to the industrial production statistics for 2020 reported by Nagano Prefecture, Shiojiri City leads the prefecture in terms of both total industrial output and industrial output per employee.

長野県企画振興部総合政策課統計室がまとめた2020年工業統計調整結果報告書によると、塩尻市は製造品出荷総額と従業者数一人あたり製造品出荷額において県下トップとなる。

Shiojiri City accounts for nearly half (46%) of Nagano Prefecture’s information technology workforce. Still, in terms of overall employment, it holds the third position, trailing Nagano City and Matsumoto City. Additionally, 56.8% of Shiojiri City’s industrial workforce is employed in the information technology sector.

また、産業中分類別の従業者数を見ると、操縦業者数では長野市と松本市に続いて県下第３位であるが、情報技術においては県内の約半数（46%）を締め第１位となっている。

EPSON’s Hirooka Office is considered a key contributor to the growth of the information technology industry in both Shiojiri City and Nagano Prefecture.

塩尻市および長野県における情報技術産業の発展には、セイコーエプソン広丘事業所が大きく貢献していると考えられる。
